SketchCalc Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SketchCalc handles information on iOS and Android. SketchCalc is a visual calculator, drawing and math-notes app. No user account is required.
Local content and permissions
Calculations, notes, graphs, drawings, handwriting, scanned receipts and project files are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this workspace content. Photos or camera access for receipt scanning, and file access for import or export, are used when you choose those actions and grant any required permissions. Content is transferred to another service only when you choose to share, export or back it up.
Advertising and collected information
The free version uses Unity LevelPlay mediation, with advertising services that may include Unity Ads and InMobi. These providers may receive IP address, approximate location inferred from network information, device and advertising identifiers where permitted, app/ad interactions, crash or performance information and anti-fraud signals. They use this information for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, diagnostics, security and, where permitted, ad personalization. These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We do not intentionally transmit your calculations, notes, scanned receipts or project files to advertising services.
Where required, the app offers advertising consent choices. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is separate; refusing tracking does not necessarily remove contextual ads. You can change available privacy and advertising preferences through the in-app consent controls where provided, device settings, or the advertising provider. Third-party policies: Unity and InMobi.
Purchases and diagnostics
The optional one-time PRO upgrade is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive full payment-card information. The stores may provide transaction identifiers, purchase status and receipts used to activate or restore PRO. Apple, Google and advertising services may process device and diagnostic information under their respective policies. See Apple Privacy and Google Privacy.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Local workspace data remains until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall SketchCalc, except for copies you have exported or backed up. Because we do not hold your workspace data on our servers, we cannot remotely retrieve or delete it. Advertising, purchase and diagnostic providers may retain information for periods defined by their own policies. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data, object to processing, or withdraw applicable consent. Contact us for requests relating to data we control; requests involving a provider’s data may also require contacting that provider. We do not sell user-created workspace content.
Security, children and changes
SketchCalc uses local device storage for your work; no storage system is completely risk-free. Information handled by external providers is subject to their security measures and policies. The app is not specifically directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information directly. We will update this policy and its date when relevant practices change.
